Setting up and Using a Spreadsheet

Creating the Spreadsheet

With Capri, you can actually create a Google spreadsheet to feed information to your AI! This sheet can include things like an FAQ that you'd like the AI to have access to, listings for services that your company offers, or even information about property listings! Creating this spreadsheet is pretty easy. The first thing you need to do is decide on your "headers". These are labels that you put in the beginning row of the sheet to organize the information within. For instance, if you were to create a FAQ spreadsheet, you could do something like have the A1 cell in the spreadsheet be "Contact" and the B1 cell be "Assistant". This would tell the AI that the information in the first column would be the question asked by the contact, while the second column would be the answer!

If you were to want something like house listings, however, you could format it to where A1 is the price, B1 is the address, C1 is the bedroom count, etc.

Once you've entered all of the information that you'd like the AI to have, a very important step is to actually give Capri access to the spreadsheet! This can be done by either allowing anyone who has the link to view the spreadsheet, or you can specifically give us access by adding the email, "capri-google-sheets@dwy-master.iam.gserviceaccount.com" as an authorized viewer by going to "file" in the top left, then share, share with others, then entering that email as a user!

After filling the spreadsheet out, go to the "Settings" tab in the Capri portal, then the "Integrations" tab, and hit "Add New", "Google Sheets", and then enter in the URL of the spreadsheet!

Using the Spreadsheet

Now that you have the spreadsheet created and integrated, it's time to give the AI access to it! To do so, go to the agents tab, select your agent, then click "Add" under the actions tab at the bottom.

From here, select "Google Sheet" for the provider, the spreadsheet you created for the account, and leave the activity as "Read". For the prompt, you need to explain to the AI what the spreadsheet contains, and give it context as to when it check the spreadsheet!

Whenever you make changes to the spreadsheet, remember to remove and reupload the spreadsheet to the integrations page to make sure that the spreadsheet is updated!
