Outreach Tasks (Legacy)

The outreach task is intended to be used, like its name implies, for sending outreach messages only! When you have a webhook step set to this task, it will not be able to properly have a conversation with a contact, as it will format its message strangely and likely won't even respond when a contact sends in a message! The primary way that you would use an outreach task would be to do things like follow up with stale leads or send an initial message when someone fills out a form! You will likely need to use a different workflow than your primary "conversation" workflow to accomplish this, and we have a rudimentary example in our snapshot, that looks like the below picture!

Whenever you use an outreach webhook, remember to use a different prompt to explain to the AI what kind of outreach message it should be sending!
